Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a artist that was born in Newark, New Jersey on 9th August, 1963. Their parents include gospel stars Cissy Houston(n e Emily Lee Drinkard) as well as John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne warwick also sings. When she was a kid, she sang in her New Hope Baptist Church choir in Newark. Although her performance in the film as well as its soundtrack weren't appreciated but her Dolly Parton cover I Will Always Love You and the accompanying album topped charts all over the world for several months. That same year she married Bobby Brown who was a previous New Edition singer. She had their sole daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown in the month of March, 1993.
