Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston, born 9 August 1963 into a musically inclined family in Newark New Jersey is the daughter of the gospel singers Cissy Houston and John Russell Houston Jr. She's also the cousin of the singer Dionne Warwick. When she was a little girl, Houston began performing professionally in her church's choir. She was a backing vocalist for Chaka Khosn's song from 1978 Im Every Woman with her mother. After that, she began to perform backing vocals for Jermaine, Lou Rawls, and her mother. She began working as a featured vocalist for the funk group from New York, Material in the year 1981. It was this high quality of her work as a vocalist in the band that caught the attention of major record labels including Arista who signed her in 1983 and where she stayed for the rest of her professional career. The year 1985 saw Whitney Houston's debut album was the top-selling debut album ever. It featured a number of hits including How Will I know You Give Good Love Saving All My Love For you and The Greatest Love of All. It allowed her to achieve seven US chart-topping singles consecutively, a feat that was more than the Beatles. The album's debut US year, the album was had sold more than 3 million copies. It went on to be listened to by more than more than 25 million worldwide which earned her the first Grammy. The Whitney follow-up in 1987 with the singles What Do Broken Hearts GO and I Wanna Dance With Somebody helped to build on the success of her debut album. But it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard that solidified her standing as one of the most popular artists. The film itself as well as the performances in it weren't widely reviewed, the soundtrack album as well as her cover to the Dolly Parton song I Will Always Love You made the singles and albums charts for months, and was sold at 44 million copies around the world. That same year she got married to Bobby Brown who was a former New Edition singer. She was the sole daughter of Bobby and Bobbi Kristina Brown. They were married in the month of March, 1993. Dana Bash is also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz and she works for CNN as a reporter, anchorwoman and political reporter. In the past, she has created shows for the network such as Evans & Novak' Late Editionand Inside Politics'. In terms of awards and honors Bash has been featured in Women in Washington Power List which was published by Elle magazine. Bash is highly regarded for her incredible abilities as a reporter/an anchor. The only child she has is her greatest joy in life. She has been married twice and she is now married. Bash who is a strong and independent woman, loves her followers with love.
